Twelve builders publish a page for free, and the question that sorts them is the domain: only Systeme.io, Dorik and Netlify let a free site sit on your own domain, while Carrd, Webflow, Framer, Wix, WordPress.com, Strikingly and Weebly keep free sites on a subdomain with their badge or ads. Squarespace, Unbounce, Leadpages and Umso have no free plan at all, and Leadpages charges your card on day seven of the trial. Prices are USD and were checked on 23 October 2026. For internal tools, customer portals and app MVPs, see Free Website & App Builders. How we score · All Kurums Free lists
TL;DR — the free site builder that fits
- Lead-capture funnel on your own domain, free: Systeme.io Free — 3 funnels, 1 custom domain, 2,000 contacts, unlimited emails.
- One-page site in an afternoon: Carrd — up to three sites on a carrd.co subdomain; custom domain is $19 a year.
- Design-led landing page: Framer Free — 1,000 pages and 1 GB bandwidth on a Framer domain.
- Developer with a static site: Netlify Free — custom domain with SSL and unlimited forms within 300 credits a month.
- Page tied to your email list or CRM: Mailchimp Free (250 contacts) or HubSpot free pages (2 users, branded).
Which landing page & website builders tools have a free plan in 2026?
Every builder below publishes a live page at no monthly cost with no end date. They differ on three things a business cares about: whether the free site can use your domain (Systeme.io, Dorik and Netlify yes; everyone else no), whether it carries the vendor’s badge or ads (WordPress.com and Wix and Weebly show ads; Webflow, Carrd and Strikingly show a badge), and how much traffic it can take (Webflow and Framer 1 GB a month; Netlify roughly 15 GB in credits; GitHub Pages 100 GB but not for commercial use).
We excluded Squarespace (no free plan), Unbounce and Umso (trials) and Leadpages (trial that charges your card on day seven). Canva Websites is listed from a third-party source; Dorik’s pricing page contradicts itself and its free tier is marked unverified.
The table shows the domain rule, the binding cap and the Free Score. Open a row for bandwidth, forms, branding and the page we checked.

Why it ranks here. The most generous page cap here and the best editor; the domain is the single paid wall, and 1 GB a month is a few thousand visits.

Why it ranks here. Professional output and the tightest page cap on the list. Two pages is a landing page and a thank-you page — enough for a campaign, not a site.

Why it ranks here. If the free card is right it would rank near the top — own domain, 25 pages — but the page contradicts itself and we score what we can verify.
Which free site builder has no credit-card requirement?
Carrd, Wix, HubSpot and Netlify state no card for free use or trials; Systeme.io, Framer, Webflow, WordPress.com, Mailchimp, Strikingly, Weebly and Dorik do not state it. None of the free tiers here converts to paid on its own.
The one that does charge is excluded: Leadpages collects a card at sign-up and charges it on day seven of the trial. Squarespace, Unbounce and Umso run trials without a card and then stop.

How we score free tiers
Duration (30): free forever scores 30, a 30-day-plus trial 15, a trial of 14 days or less 8, credit-based tiers 12. Capacity (30): whether the limits carry a team of three for twelve months. Core job (25): whether the free tier does the category’s main work — here, publishing a landing page or small business site, on your own domain, with a working form. Friction (15): no card 15; card but no auto-charge 8; auto-charge 0; self-hosting deducts for setup and maintenance.
Each free tier was checked on the vendor’s pricing page on 23 October 2026; where the vendor page was silent, the Scorecard names the third-party source used. Free tiers change, so this list is re-verified every quarter and a discontinued free plan stays listed for one month with a notice. Order is by Free Score only. Kurums Free sells no placement; sponsorship, affiliate links and vendor requests never change a score, a rank or a label. Vendors can submit corrections to the Kurums editorial team.
How did we verify these free tiers?
We opened each vendor’s pricing page and recorded domain rules, branding, bandwidth and storage, page and form caps and the paid step. Wix’s free-plan caps come from a third-party source dated June 2026; HubSpot’s page cap comes from an agency post dated July 2026; Canva Websites is not listed as a row. Dorik’s pricing page contradicts itself and its free tier is marked unverified. Google Sites’ pages state neither free status nor limits and it is not listed. Squarespace, Unbounce, Leadpages and Umso were excluded as having no free plan.
Prices are USD except Wix, which shows a localised price including tax.
Frequently asked questions
Which landing page builder is free with a custom domain?
Systeme.io (one custom domain, three funnels, 2,000 contacts) and Netlify (custom domain with SSL within 300 credits a month). Every other free tier here uses a subdomain.
Is Carrd free?
Yes, for up to three sites on a carrd.co address without forms. Pro Lite is $9 a year and Pro Standard, with custom domains, $19 a year.
Does Webflow have a free plan?
The Starter plan is free: two static pages, 50 CMS items, 1 GB bandwidth and 50 form submissions on a webflow.io subdomain with a badge. A custom domain needs the Basic site plan at $15 a month yearly.
Is Unbounce or Leadpages free?
No. Unbounce offers a 14-day trial with no card (Starter $22 a month yearly); Leadpages collects a card and charges it on day seven.
Can I run my business site on GitHub Pages?
GitHub’s terms say Pages is not allowed as free hosting to run an online business, including transactions or SaaS. Use it for a docs or product page without a checkout.
Does the free Wix plan show ads?
Wix’s FAQ says a Premium plan is needed to remove Wix branding and connect a domain; third-party sources describe Wix ads on every free page and about 500 MB of storage.
