TL;DR: Jamf Now fits a small Apple fleet at a start of $4 per device per month. Jamf for Mobile fits a broader mobile fleet at $5.75 per device per month, billed annually, with a 25-device minimum. Jamf for Mac fits Mac management and security at $12.50 per device per month, billed annually, same minimum. Microsoft 365 E5 fits a company already buying the suite: Intune is included, and the page listed E5 at $60 per user per month paid yearly.

Apple device management software enrolls Macs, iPhones, and iPads, pushes apps and profiles, and often adds endpoint protection. It is not a Windows-only endpoint agent and it is not a password manager.

Every entry uses the same fields: published pricing, free plan or trial, what the fee buys, and the main limitation. The order is not a quality ranking. Public $0 / published price first, quote-led last. None of these four showed a standing $0 plan on the pages we loaded, so the order is the lowest published list price first. Jamf Now at $4 is first. Microsoft 365 E5 is last because $60 is a user suite price, not a device-only MDM price.

Pricing checked on October 4, 2026. Jamf figures are from jamf.com/pricing. Microsoft figures are from the Microsoft Intune pricing page, which listed Microsoft 365 E5 at $60 per user per month paid yearly and said select Intune capabilities are included in Microsoft 365 E3 and E5. We did not capture a standalone Intune Plan 1 dollar amount on that view, so it is not invented here.

A $4 device and a $60 user are not the same invoice.

How this market is priced

Jamf Now is a device price with a small-organization cap: the page says fewer than 25 employees and starts at $4 per device per month. Jamf for Mobile and Jamf for Mac are annual device prices with a 25-device minimum and a contact button. Microsoft’s Intune page sells the suite around the product. E5 was $60 per user per month paid yearly, and the page said prices may vary by agreement. A 20-person Apple shop and a 200-person Microsoft estate will not land on the same SKU.

The 4 providers in detail

1. Jamf Now

FROM $4 PER DEVICE

Best for: an organization under 25 employees that wants Apple management without a 25-device minimum.

Published pricing Starting at $4 per device per month on jamf.com/pricing. The card says organizations with fewer than 25 employees.
Free plan or trial A get-started path. We did not see a standing $0 plan price on the card.
What the fee buys macOS, iOS, iPadOS, and tvOS. Streamlined management, app distribution, macOS malware protection.
Limitation The employee cap is part of the offer. Larger fleets are pointed at the other Jamf cards.
  • Jamf listed Now at a $4 per device starting price.
  • The same page puts Jamf for Mac and Jamf for Mobile behind a 25-device minimum.
  • Now includes macOS malware protection on the card we read.

2. Jamf for Mobile

$5.75 PER DEVICE, 25 MINIMUM

Best for: a mobile fleet of at least 25 devices that can sign an annual plan.

Published pricing $5.75 per mobile device per month, billed annually, 25-device minimum. Contact us.
Free plan or trial The page has a demo or trial FAQ. The card itself is contact us, not a $0 plan.
What the fee buys iOS, iPadOS, visionOS, watchOS, tvOS, and Android. Powered by Jamf Pro, Jamf Connect, and Jamf Protect. Mobile threat defense and zero trust network access are listed.
Limitation 25-device minimum and annual billing. Android is on this card, so it is not Apple-only.
  • The mobile card is $5.75, not the $4 Now price.
  • Billing is annual, with a 25-device minimum.
  • The contact button means the $5.75 is a published start, not a self-serve checkout we completed.

3. Jamf for Mac

$12.50 PER MAC, 25 MINIMUM

Best for: a Mac fleet of at least 25 that wants management, identity, and protection together.

Published pricing $12.50 per macOS device per month, billed annually, 25-device minimum. Contact us.
Free plan or trial Not a standing $0 plan on the card.
What the fee buys macOS only on this card. Jamf Pro, Jamf Connect, and Jamf Protect. Endpoint protection, vulnerability management, content filtering, identity, and zero trust network access.
Limitation Mac only. A mixed iPhone fleet needs the mobile card or another SKU. 25-device minimum.
  • Jamf priced Mac at $12.50 per device per month on annual billing.
  • The minimum is 25 devices, so the floor is not one Mac at $12.50.
  • Identity and protection are part of this card, not a separate line we saw.

4. Microsoft Intune via Microsoft 365 E5

SUITE AT $60 PER USER

Best for: a company that already pays for Microsoft 365 and wants device management inside that contract.

Published pricing Microsoft Intune pricing page: Microsoft 365 E5 $60 per user per month, paid yearly. Annual subscription, auto renews. Prices may vary by agreement. Contact sales for a customized quote.
Free plan or trial Not shown as a standing $0 Intune plan on that view.
What the fee buys The page said select advanced Intune capabilities are included in Microsoft 365 E3 and E5. E5 includes endpoint security and the rest of the E5 suite, not Intune alone.
Limitation $60 is a user suite price. We did not capture a standalone Intune Plan 1 dollar amount, so do not treat $60 as the MDM-only fee.
  • The Intune pricing page listed E5 at $60 per user per month paid yearly.
  • It also said prices may vary by Microsoft agreement.
  • E3 was named as an include path. We did not record an E3 dollar amount on that view.
