Which customer feedback, nps & survey tools tools have a free plan in 2026?
Everything below collects customer feedback free with no end date within its caps. The hosted survey caps are responses — unlimited at Tally, 200 a form at Microsoft Forms, 100 at Zoho and Contentsquare, 25 a month at Survicate and Refiner, 10 a month at Typeform, 50 for the life of the account at Qualaroo — and questions (10 at SurveyMonkey and Zoho). The board caps are seats and users: Featurebase one seat and one board, Canny 25 tracked users with an automatic prorated upgrade beyond that unless you set a spend limit.
What changed: Delighted now redirects to Qualtrics with ‘no longer available’; Hotjar’s pricing redirects to Contentsquare, whose free plan includes surveys; Typeform’s pricing page no longer states free limits, which are cited from a third party; Jotform’s Starter limits are not readable on its page; Google Forms’ free status is general knowledge because its pages rate-limited our fetch. Zoho’s and Refiner’s paid prices did not render.

Which free feedback tool has no credit-card requirement?
Microsoft Forms, Survicate, Refiner, Jotform and the open-source tools need no card; Tally, Featurebase, Contentsquare, Zoho, Canny, SurveyMonkey and Typeform do not state it. Canny is the one to watch: it upgrades automatically and bills pro rata when a 26th user interacts, unless you set a spend limit.
The exclusions: Delighted (discontinued, now a Qualtrics redirect), Retently (14-day trial), AskNicely (no trial at all), Zonka Feedback (14-day trial), Frill (14-day trial), Nolt (10-day trial), Sprig (no free plan on its page), Usersnap (20 feedback items, then deactivated at 90 days).

Duration (30): free forever scores 30, a 30-day-plus trial 15, a trial of 14 days or less 8, credit-based tiers 12. Capacity (30): whether the limits carry a team of three for twelve months. Core job (25): whether the free tier does the category’s main work — here, asking customers what they think — NPS, surveys, feature requests — at a volume a real customer base produces. Friction (15): no card 15; card but no auto-charge 8; auto-charge 0; self-hosting deducts for setup and maintenance.
Each free tier was checked on the vendor’s pricing page on 29 October 2026; where the vendor page was silent, the Scorecard names the third-party source used. Free tiers change, so this list is re-verified every quarter and a discontinued free plan stays listed for one month with a notice. Order is by Free Score only.
